Cadiz City has always been a safe place to live in. This was made possible because of the good coordination between the city and the Philippine National Police. The administration of Mayor Escalante supports peace and order programs of the PNP. Police visibilities, quick responses, and crime preventions were among the programs that the police had undertaken. The creation of various community-based linkages, peacekeeping organizations, and other accredited people’s organizations were created to help in the peace keeping.

The Cadiz City Police Station was recognized as the “Outstanding City Police Station for CY 2019” national category in the field of police-community relations. The City’s Anti-Drug Abuse Council, under the chairmanship of Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. is also one of the awardees of the 2020 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Audit Awards.

Local Barangay Police (also known as Barangay Tanods) were equipped and empowered through various education and information advocacies. The creation of emergency police hotlines and quick response hotlines were also a big help for the community. Cadiznons are confident as they feel secured and protected.
